 US President Barack Obama had said "the stars are aligned" to enable the United States and India to forge a global ahead of his visit to New Delhi.

But relations between India & USA Have recently began to flourish. 

During the cold war era, India developed a closer relationship with the Soviet Union. During that period, India's relatively cooperative strategic and military relations with Moscow and strong socialist policies had a distinctly adverse impact on its relations with the United States. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, India began to review its foreign policy in a unipolar world, and took steps to develop closer ties with the European Union and the United States. 

US President Barack Obama's India visit as chief guest at the Republic Day parade is expected to result in the inking of several defense agreements, technology transfer schemes and expanding India & US bilateral trade.

Trade and commerce form a crucial component of the rapidly expanding relations between India and U.S. From a modest $ 5.6 billion in 1990, the bilateral trade in merchandise goods has increased to $ 63.7 billion in 2013 representing an impressive 1037.5% growth in a span of 23 years. US President Barack Obama wants bilateral trade to grow even further. 

With this in, mind US president Barack Obama was keen in ending the India-US six-year-old logjam over civil nuclear deal, in which he has been successful. Through this deal he aims to export atomic equipments to India which will amount in Billions of dollars and will give a much needed thrust to US otherwise stagnant atomic energy sector. This deal can be seen as a win-win situation for both India and US. It brings India into the international nuclear regulation regime, creates jobs for Americans, is good for the environment, and supports U.S. national interests abroad.

Wary Beijing is also keeping a close watch on the outcome amid commentaries by official think tanks here that the trip is aimed at containing China. India also wants the help of US to contain china’s increasing influence in the Indian Ocean.

As of the relations between India and Iran goes, US wants India to curb its oil imports from Iran in order to put more pressure on Iran. In a way it can be said that the US is influencing India's Iran policy.

As we can see a lot depends on the outcome of this 3 day visit of US president to India. 

But looking it astrologically, we can see that US will definitely gain in financial terms, i.e. its exports to India will grow, be it in defense sector or in Nuclear sector. But for India, the gains will be more in terms of its image, which is perceived worldwide. India will be started to be looked upon as a growing, and countries will start to think twice about their relations with India.
